A website on which
users exchange thoughts, opinions and often also files is called a forum. There are various ways of communicating, such as one-to-many communication, where one user is a so-called sender and all the others are the receivers. There is also many-to-many communication, in which all participants can receive as well as send contributions.
In most cases, forums are used to ask open questions or to discuss specific topics. To become part of a discussion, active participants must complete a registration.
